it’s going to be a good summer
I can tell. I’ve already got some fun stuff lined up for next week, and I scored four 3-Day Passes for ACL. Which I know isn’t even in summer but what I’m trying to say was that today was a good one.
My Summer To-Do List:
- Take a trip to the PNW. Like Seattle or Portland and the surrounding areas. That region is fucking beautiful. We’ll see if we can afford it.
- Schlitterbahn with some friends. It’s like an annual thing I guess. You go, have some fun, get a terrible sunburn. You know.
- Spend more time Downtown. As much as I love Downtown Austin, it’s not a frequent place I go to, but hopefully with more free time I can drive down more often.
- Develop my friendships further. I’m not really interested in making any more friends than I have now, which isn’t really a ton but I’d rather just make all my friendships deeper. I’ve gotten to this point where I feel like I’ve met pretty much all the people who I can tolerate for extended periods of time and who I really enjoy being with. So I want to make those friendships even better (i.e spend more time with those people.)
- Get in better shape. Here’s my cliche one. So far my exercise is limited to like three swim practices a week plus dry-land and a once a week meeting with a semi-personal trainer. I’m hoping to boost the latter part up to twice eventually as well as getting another gym membership. I didn’t want to have to pay for LifeTime anymore haha. I also want to jog, but since I run like this:

I don’t really see that happening. Plus I can’t get up in the morning.
So yeah. That’s my summer. I don’t really see it as a game-changer, just another few months hopefully full of memories, fun shit, and a bit of personal progress. Okay who the fuck am I trying to kid? I will not be jogging at all this summer.
